D.C.’s Punk Rock Bride to Expand to West Coast

According to designer Stephanie Ward, “Punk Rock Bride was created for the bride who is looking for a less traditional, more fashion-oriented dress.”  Soliloquy Bridal Couture is proud to have the exclusive East Coast selling rights to this D.C. born bridal collection. Stephanie’s vision was a perfect match for us, and Punk Rock Bride has become one of our most popular lines.

The wedding gown collection, which caters to brides who are looking for off-beat designs and more modern cuts, was started by Stephanie Ward in her Georgetown apartment in 2008. Five years after founding the brand in her Georgetown apartment, Stephanie Ward is going West.“There was a real void in the industry for more original dresses,” Ward said. “[Our customers] are looking for something with interesting detail, something a little less traditional. We don’t get a lot of brides who want the poufy ball gown with a long veil and tiara.”
